Beddau, Wales – 25 February 2026

Following an inspiring start to the year, mental health charity 4 Dewi is delighted to announce an upcoming fundraising challenge. On Saturday 11th July 2026, local cyclists Chris Morgan, Dean Porter (Church Village), and Lee Fraser (Beddau) will take on an ambitious cross-country cycling challenge to raise vital funds for the charity’s community wellbeing work.

As proud members of the Beddau Bike Club, the group will set off from Beddau RFC and make their way towards North Wales, tackling some of the most demanding and scenic routes in the country along the way. This endurance challenge will push both physical and mental limits in support of a cause close to their hearts.

A True Test of Endurance

This is no ordinary ride. The route will take the cyclists through Brecon and Rhayader before they take on the challenging ascent of the legendary Llanberis Pass. In total, they will face:

• 180 miles of open road

• 12,000 feet of climbing

• Approximately 15 hours of continuous cycling
